Mondy night what to do
Well last night since it was Monday and 11pm and snowing what beter time to take apart the boiler.
(ok finaly got some pictures up)
Since the boiler was leeking I decided I should find out exactly where so we could find out if its under warenty or just how far this project will need to go. So after my shower I began taking out the screws and removing cover pieces. Once the jacket was loose the leak was fairly easy to find. (I'll post pictures later) The leak was infact on the castiron boiler portion of the unit - left rear as you are looking at the unit from the front. I was surpprised this unit is a fairly simple device. Water goes in gets heated in this large castiron unit then circulated out through all the house. After the leak was located I quickly stuck things back together to get to bed... Fun night :-)
The part that is leaking is the lower left inbetwen two sections of the boiler piece. This shot is looking top down with the lid removed.
