Double contractors.
Wow! Busy day here with the noise level quite high. Melissa and I are actually amazed that Matthew slept his normal 1.5 hr nap today with all the noise going on right in the next room.
Today the plumbers were here to rough-in the bathroom. Todays main task was getting the drain system in. I walked him through where every thing was going to be. Then had to switch gears and talk with the electrician about the plans for the bathroom; steam generator here, exhaust fan here, lights here here and here....
What a mess, then I had to rush off to my day job. I got some bad news roughly an hour and a half later. The plumber called. Dad and I had missed a 6" section of the cast-iron stack. This ment they had to waste time removing this before the new one could be positioned.
When I returned home today we were semi roughed-in with one error. They missed one vanity rough-in. This will most likely not be a problem to correct since the sub-floor is not going in until Saturday.
